BENGALS MAUALUGA FINED BY NFL
The Cincinnati Bengals' second year linebacker Rey Maualuga has been fined two game checks by the NFL and will also forfeit a portion of his signing bonus for 2010. Maualuga pleaded guilty to drunk driving in February. Kentucky police say Maualuga hit a parking meter and two parked cars in Northern Kentucky during the offseason. The NFL was considering a one game suspension but decided not to go with that after listening to Maualuga's attorney, David Cornwell, gave his arguments. Maualuga ended up with two years probation, and a revoked driver's license. Bengals' running back Cedric Benson has also missed a suspension he was charged with assault a few months ago. He allegedly punched a bar employee in the facve. He denied the charge.

FAVRE BACK IN MINNESOTA

The Vikings want an answer out of Brett Favre. Will he stay or will he go? Vikings' G Steve Hutchinson, DE Jared Allen, and K Ryan Longwell flew to Favre's hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in hope of getting a decision from the 40 year-old quarterback. It is said that Favre told the three players he would be returning for another season, but the decision is not certain yet. Favre's purple and yellow private jet arrived in Minnesota today, but Favre was quickly whisked into the Vikings' headquarters without a word. Favre had offseason surgery on his ankle that was injured in the NFC championship game against the Saints. He told some teammates that the ankle felt good enough for him to return for a 20TH NFL season, but no one is making any promises right now. Favre remains undecided.
